This workshop is part of the Puna Music Festival, see more info at punamusicfestival.com
About:
This workshop will be a journey into the participant's own lyrical poetry of the soul through the meditative process of listening and observing nature, and the Self, leading to the courageous musical expression of these impressions and feelings that are evoked and inspired. This will be an individual and co-creative experience of singing and creating music and song together. Please bring your song book and a pen. If you have an instrument and recording device you can bring that too, but it is not necessary.
About the artist: Mary Isis has been singing since before she could talk, making up songs about just about anything. It is only in the last 7 years that she has been performing her own songs in public. She has collaborated with many other musicians and artists and For her, songwriting has been a process of listening and self inquiry, which has led to healing, transformation and deepening her connection with the cosmos.
