Kalasara Setaysha, Chair of Koholā Leo: “Who are the whales?”

Friends of the North Shore Library at Princeville and the Princeville Public Library proudly present:

Kalasara Setaysha: Chair of Koholā Leo
speaking on: “Who are the whales?”

Ms. Setaysha has been a voice for the whales for many years through outreach, education, and photography. Her passion is to help people understand and respect the intelligence, grace, and true nature of these “gentle giants.”

This discussion includes:
-Whale biology and behavior
-Science of whale sentient culture and societies
-Threats and challenges to the whales and their habitat
-Actions to help whales survive and thrive in our world

This free event is co-sponsored by the Friends of the North Shore Library at Princeville as part of the Dotty Nakea Memorial Speaker Program and the Princeville Public Library. To request a sign language interpreter, please contact the library 2 weeks in advance at 808-826-4310.
