Author Talk: Aloha ‘Aina Volume II: More Big Island Memories

Join us at the Hilo Public Library for a talk with two authors who contributed to the anthology “Aloha ‘Aina Volume II: More Big Island Memories”.
Gloria Kobayashi, editor and retired Waiakea High School Librarian, and Rochelle delaCruz, contributor and former Hawaii Public Radio commentator, will share selections from the book, which features reminiscences about tsunami, volcanic eruptions, plantation life, local businesses, and growing up before the 1960s.
