“Healing Mauna Kea” presentation

Mauna Kea's high-elevation dry forest is home to plants and animals found nowhere else on the world, including it's most famous feathery inhabitant, the endangered Palila. The Mauna Kea Forest Restoration Project (MKFRP), together with community volunteers, has been working hard to restore and protect this special forest for generations to come. Learn about this unique ecosystem, the innovative ways MKFRP is restoring this forest, and how you can help.
