The Power of Foods for Cancer Prevention & Survival

Join us to learn how the power of a plant based diet can help you avoid certain cancers and even extend your life if already diagnosed. We’ll discuss foods to steer clear of and those most protective. You’ll enjoy a short video featuring Dr. Neal Barnard, then we’ll prepare and eat 3 tasty recipes and finish with a grocery tour.

Recipes include: Easy Bean Salad, Black Bean Dip with Baked Chips, Veggies in a Blanket, sampling of non dairy milks and cheeses.

Class will require reservations by at least 5 people. To make your reservation please call our Marketing Office at 947-3249 or sign up on Eventbrite. In the event of cancellation (2 days before event) everyone who signed up will be notified by email and phone. Walk-ins are welcome, however it's a good idea to call us to make sure event is still on.
