East African Vegan Cooking

Come learn how to cook staple dishes from Uganda (East Africa). These recipes are traditional and great for building your health.

-Learn about Uganda, including the food, music, people, and land

-Hands-on: make your own chappati and sugar free Ugandan
pancakes

-We will be making Ugandan-style groundnut sauce, chappati, sugar-
free Ugandan pancakes, and medicinal mushroom soup.

Henry Kisitu is the owner of Tru Body Bliss, formally known as Henry's Tonics. Henry was born and raised in Uganda where he found a love for cooking. To him, cooking is more than just recipes. It's about honoring the earth, learning how food is grown, and learning the values of being human.

Class will require reservations by at least 5 people. To make your reservation please call our Marketing Office at 947-3249 or sign up on Eventbrite. In the event of cancellation (2 days before event) everyone who signed up will be notified by email and phone. Walk-ins are welcome, however it's a good idea to call us to make sure event is still on.
