Please join visiting Austrian TaKeTiNa teacher KLAUDIA VERNE and local TaKeTiNa teacher DEBORAH MASTERSON for a special Rhythm Full Circle.
Develop your awareness and deepen your understanding of rhythm in its many forms. You don’t need to play an instrument. People from all paths come together to transform their relationship to music, to each other, and to life.
In a two-hour rhythm circle, we vocalize, step, and clap simultaneously. Gently held and supported by the group, we weave different rhythms on several levels.
Our experience of repeatedly falling into chaos and then re-emerging into a higher level of organization leads us to an awareness not only of music, but also of learning and life. Visiting TaKeTiNa teacher KLAUDIA VERNE has a background in massage, acupuncture, and other forms of energetic body work which she applies in private practice in Linz, Austria.
Local co-facilitator DEBORAH MASTERSON has been offering TaKeTiNa rhythm circles for nearly 20 years, including in the past, regular circles at Kalani for two years.
