Elves’ Workshop – Family Tinkering Event by Maui Science Center

December 9, 2017 @ 10:30 am - 12:00 pm

Exercise creativity and technical skill in this family workshop designed to let kids and their parents / caregivers work together to design, build and test something fantastic. Make colorful ornaments using Lego and cross-stitching techniques, design and build a “gingerbread” house using glue and cardboard, make moving toys, or construct your very own festive invention / piece of art.

SAFETY ALERT: during this event our young guests will require 100% adult assistance and supervision as small objects and sharp tools will be used.

Please bring in your recyclable treasures — paper towel and TP tubes, old CDs, DVDs, pipe-cleaners, bottle caps (any size), buttons, corks, etc.

Sponsored by the Kay A. Edwards Memorial Fund. Program schedule is subject to change. Contact the library 15 days in advance to request a sign language interpreter or if special accommodations are needed.
