Bring your best design ideas and creativity to our first annual Tinkering Event – Elves Workshop.
Exercise both creativity and technical skill in this family workshop, designed to let kids and their parents/caregivers work together to design, build, and test something fantastic during the hands-on 90-minute session at the Kihei Public Library.
Make colorful ornaments using Lego and cross-stitching techniques, design and build a gingerbread house using glue and cardboard, make moving toys, or construct your very own festive invention/ piece of art.
Safety Alert: during this tinkering event our youngest guests will require 100% adult assistance and supervision. Sharp tools, glue, and small decorative materials (choking hazard) included with the activities.
Sponsored by the Kay A. Edwards Memorial Fund. Program schedule is subject to change. Please contact the library 15 days in advance to request a sign language interpreter or if special accommodations are needed.
