Furoshiki Gift Wrapping

November 18, 2017 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Help make the holiday season greener by practicing an eco-craft borrowed from the Japanese with Evelyn Nakamura. Learn to use a square piece of fabric to wrap a variety of gifts of different sizes and shapes. The wrapper becomes part of the gift and can be reused later. Examples of other uses of furoshiki will also be shared. All containers and furoshiki needed to practice 12 different ties are provided.

Class size is limited to 15 participants. RSVP required.

Program schedule is subject to change. Contact the library 10 days in advance to request a sign language interpreter or if special accommodations are needed.
