Mundano + Kualiʻi art exhibit and auction

Join international artists Mundano and Ian Kuali'i this week as they take art to the streets and bring visibility to the homeless residents of Honolulu. If you are an artist, builder, or have connections to the recycling and homeless community, and want to be part of this project, please contact Ian Kualiʻi: Instagram @iankualii or email iankualii@gmail.com

Artists and workshop participants will display the final painted recycling carts for the community on the front lawn of the Hawaiʻi State Art Museum. In addition, ten artist-designed mini-carts with be auctioned at the event to raise money for homelessness in Hawaiʻi.

Forecast Public Art is facilitating the residency with Mundano and Kualiʻi in collaboration with the State Foundation on Culture and the Arts.
