Join Vijay Krsna (KIRTANIYAS) for an evening of kirtan and mantra.
Vijay Krsna studied devotional Indian folk music known as “Kirtan” in the sacred village of Vrindavana, India. This rare traditional art form is an ancient call-and-response mantra chanting practice, that originated in the Indian subcontinent over 5000 years ago. Vijay formed the band Kirtaniyas in 2009. They have travelled the world to over 15 countries infusing new life to these ancient chants with youthful spirit and energy.
Admission: Free for festival pass holders. Open to the public for $15 ($10 kama’āina). A valid Hawaii state-issued ID or driver’s license must be presented at festival check-in to receive kama’āina rates.
