Tour – Art Off the Wall

September 9, 2017 @ 11:30 am - 2:15 pm

Free family-friendly museum tour! An offbeat, interpretive experience that will have you thinking about art through storytelling and music with master storyteller Jeff Gere and musician Charlie Myers. If these works of art could speak, sing, tell a tale or speak a poem, what would they speak, sing, or say? Let’s find out!

Museum galleries will be open; admission is always free. Tours begin at 11:30 a.m., 12:15, 1:00, and 1:45 p.m. Each tour will be about 30 minutes long. Meet in the second floor Sculpture Lobby at the visitors desk.

Second floor, No. 1 Capitol District Building. Take the elevators or the stairs to the second floor lobby. Parking across the street in the Ali'i Place building (entrance at 1099 Alakea St., $3 flat rate on weekends, cash only), metered parking at ‘Iolani Palace, or metered street parking. Several TheBus lines stop either in front of or close to the building.
