The Big Latch On

The Global Big Latch On 2017 takes place at registered locations around the world, where women gather together to breastfeed and offer peer support to each other. Their friends, family and community join this celebration to promote and support breastfeeding. Volunteers from within the community host each location, and the Global Big Latch On creates a lasting support network for the community.
Join us for a family-friendly event, including prize drawings, a baby wearing demonstration, and Yoga for moms. Presented by the East Hawaii Perinatal Consortium. Participants are requested to arrive 30 minutes before the start so they can register and settle everyone in.
Program schedule is subject to change. Contact the library 15 days in advance to request a sign language interpreter or if special accommodations are needed.
