Peter Janis began in this industry in 1976 as musician and audio sales associate at a retail shop and in the coming years got heavily focussed in commercial installations for live venues and clubs. In 1981, Peter studied electricity at the Norther Alberta Institute of Technology and 1982, he was hired as product manager for Fender in Canada – a position he held for 10 years. As the Canadian arm, he got involved with product development and marketing with a number of companies including Akai, Audix, and Hafler. He founded Radial in 1992 and today, the company comprises of about 90 employees with sales around the globe.
