Author Katherine Nichols will provide a reading and brief background of her narrative nonfiction book DEEP WATER, about Coronado’s infamous group of teen drug smugglers in the 1970s through the early 1980s. The program will conclude with a question and answer session.
Katherine Nichols is a former teacher and longtime journalist who has contributed to numerous publications. She also worked as a staff writer for the Honolulu Advertiser and the Honolulu Star-Bulletin, and freelanced regularly for Honolulu Magazine over ten years.
This one-hour program is suitable for ages 14 & older.
