FFA at Kihei Fourth Friday – School Grown Produce For Sale

April 28, 2017 @ 5:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Lokelani Intermediate School, Future Farmers of America (FFA) club members will be at Kihei Fourth Friday this week selling school “farm” grown fruits, vegetables and herbs. Also for sale are mini-succulent pots club members have been caring for all year and are excited to be selling in the community!

In its first year as one of Hawaiiʻs few active intermediate school clubs, Lokelani FFA members are raising funds to travel to FFA state competition and fund projects for next school year.

Drop by the FFA booth at Kihei Fourth Friday and check out the school “farm” grown sugar pie pumpkins, cherry tomatoes, hawaiian chili peppers, apple bananas, swiss chard, lemon grass, kaffir lime leaves, herbs and green papayas. (Green papaya salad or thai coconut soup anyone?) And check out the potted succulents and buy a couple for friends to support this club fundraiser!

Lokelani FFA program support provided by Grow Some Good and Maui School Garden Network….and good people like you. To donate to help members reach fundraising goals, visit donate@growsomegood.org and note FFA.

Mahalo for caring and mahalo for sharing!
