The Swingin’ Blue Stars

December 2, 2016 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

In Commemoration of the Pearl Harbor 75th Anniversary, The Swingin’ Blue Stars will perform close harmony, swing style music made popular by 1940’s female vocal groups such as the Andrews Sisters. The East Bay Area trio will sing and dance to patriotic music, mixing saucy and romantic World War II tunes that appeal to a variety of audiences. The group consists of Cindy Shon, Cindy Moreno, & Nancy Cardoza.

This one-hour performance is sponsored by the Friends of the Library of Hawai‘i and will be held in the front lobby. Program is suitable for all ages. Young children must be accompanied by a parent or adult caregiver.

Program schedule is subject to change. Contact the library as soon as possible to request a sign language interpreter or if special accommodations are needed. For more information, please call the library's Art, Music & Recreation Section at 586-3520.
