Ready, Set, Jump Into Fitness with Representative Lauren Matsumoto for Children

Lauren Matsumoto serves as State Representative for Hawaii's 45th District, which includes Mililani. In 2011, Representative Matsumoto represented the state at the Miss America Pageant, winning the talent portion by performing a jump rope routine. She continues to jump rope for children across the state as part of the American Heart Association's Jump Rope 4 Heart campaign, which encourages healthy living for kids.
On Weds., June 29, 2016, at 2:30pm, she will visit Mililani Public Library and will share the importance of fitness in her life. She will also share a special children's story and will have video clips of some of her jump rope routines. Take photos with her and ask questions, as time permits.
