PAWS for Reading

Assistance Dogs of Hawaii Therapy Dog Teams will be visiting the library. Reading to a Therapy Dog builds reading confidence, strengthens literacy skills, and is tail wagging fun!
Kindergarten through fifth grade children can sign up for 15 minute time slots by calling Makawao Public Library at 573-8785.
Children must be on time to prevent losing the opportunity to read to a dog. Reservations are required, and children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
