Galliard String Quartet Concert

The Galliard String Quartet (the best professional string quartet in the state of Hawaii, comprised four full-time members of the Hawaii Symphony Orchestra) will perform the following pieces on June 24, 2016, at 12:00 noon, in the library's front lobby:
– Bach, mvts 2,3,4,5 from the Suite in D Major
– Pachelbel, Canon in D
– Mozart, Divertimento No. 1, all 3 mvts (1,2,3)
– Haydn, “Joke” Quartet, movement 3 and finale
– Glazunov, Interludium from “Five Novelettes,” Str. Qt, Op. 15
– Smetana, Quartet No. 1, “From My Life,” finale
– Michael McLean, “Tango” for String Quartet
