The abbreviated, interactive opera (30 minutes) performed by the Hawai'i Opera Theatre will feature three singers and one accompanist performing six different roles from Mozart's “The Magic Flute”.
The story is told through Papageno, the unwilling companion of Tamino, a foreign prince, who has been sent on a quest to rescue the daughter of the mysterious Queen of the Night from her captor, the priest, Sarastro.
