The Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary is the winter home to humpback whales that migrate between Alaska and Hawai'i. When whales become entangled in marine debris, a dedicated effort to free them is led by narrator, Ed Lyman.
This award-winning, Emmy-nominated film puts the audience right in the rescue boat with the courageous and highly-trained individuals who methodically cut the whales free.
