An Illustrator Talk with Caren Lobel Fried

Caren will demonstrate block printing, as well as share books, featuring Legend of the Gourd and the sketches that went into creating it. She will also discuss her current projects, including the art for Midway Atoll National Wildlife Refuge; the Conservation Council for Hawai'i; and for Hō'ailona, the Hawaiian Monk Seal at the Honolulu Aquarium, and raising awareness about the monk seals.
